Temporary wheel while the originals are in for a refurb...

Pics also in the "what I did to my car today" thread.

Original wheels are now finished. Unfortunately I'm away for work just now, but the guy did put up a pic on pussbook.

Come out well. At least in a picture.

First time I've used the car in over a month now, I forgot how rubbish the P-Zero's are.

Hated the P-zeros on mine as well, more expensive than a lot of the competition, loads of road noise and seriously low levels of grip in anything but perfect conditions. Will not buy again.

From experience they also seem to wear faster than other brands. Last time i buy them or pirellis in general.

Mine have not worn at all looking at them, I'd assume as they are rock hard rubber as well problem doesn't help things.

Time for a set of PS4 S after that cars had it first service in March.

pilot sport 4 or super sports are my favorites :p

I've been trying to buy MPSS's since August for mine at the correct size & load ratings. :(

Replaced my facelift MK2 Octavia VRS TSI in Race Blue a couple of weeks ago, with the newer MK3 version and a massive list of extra kit I didn't have before. Took a few quick phone pics following a wash over the weekend.

is the new VRS any quicker than your old one?
I love the front and side profile of the new Octavia but the back still looks lame in my opinion. The tail lights look too small and its need a thicker rear bumper and side skirts on the VRS to give it a more powerful look.

On paper there isn't much in it, about 0.2 on the 0-60 and power has gone from 200ps to 220ps. It feels a lot quicker on the road, my old one was a manual, whereas this is DSG and it shifts much quicker than I probably could.

Can you think of a better car for the going to the supermarket in? :p

Just look at that. Still want to own some Americana at some stage, but there's a lot of choice and my time/driveway/garage availability just isn't right. Would very much like a gen 3 Thunderbird with some choice modifications, but alas.

I actually like that Joe, colour suits it well too, very nice mate

lol Voxination, time to get a car with a bigger boot ? sorry I meant engine bay :D :p
