Show Us Your Motors!

I wasn't criticising his car, merely asking when he is selling it. :p

Did you just classify your own post as a roast Vita?

My car purchases are going well! And Stormsters seem to be too! ;)

On a serious note, how is the Leon..? Done anything to it?

Stop ninja editing. :p

I haven't done much apart from a remap. Giving it a full service this week, and both rear callipers changing.

I've gone a bit like Stormster. Just want something to get in and drive, and not really care about apart from the maintenance. Still have the 330i though. Don't think I can part with it. :(

I won't deny I'm not toying with 2018's purchase but I'm adamant I won't change until then. Bigger fish to fry.

I've fancied an E92 for a while... but I won't start finding out all about them because I'll end up buying one! :D

Nissan GTR, gogogogo. :p

e; Stormster, what happens if you keep a car longer than a year? Black hole? Mental breakdown? Time stops? :D

e2; the only car I've managed to have longer than a year was a Polo... Hm

I've had some* cars for over a year.

*2. For about 2 and a half years a piece. Then I think 18 months has been the longest and under the year for all others.

I've enjoyed swapping about but I've wasted thousands in doing so - but meh, I go to work, I earn more money. I try not to come on here too much lately as I hate looking at all these nice cars and thinking I need something nice again!

Me, ninja edit? Never.

Keep the 330Ci and in 10 years time it will be collectable. :p

330i*. To be honest I spent a quite a bit on the car. Not because I had to but because I thought I would have kept it for longer. Great car, great engine but as with life you have to move on.

May be I am just lazy or there are always things more important to spend a large chunk of cash on, new cameras, computers, house deposit.

Only really changed car once in almost 7 years of driving, whilst I do want that Z4....currently in the middle of upgrading my cameras which is not a cheap exercise.

Not just you mate, I've had my Mito a good 5+ years now and it is likely to remain for at least one more as I buy my house in April. She's falling to bits faster than I can fix her but she's never left me stranded yet. That being said it's still on its original clutch at 100k miles now and many of the original suspension bits so I'm expecting a bit more pain soon (probably when all the consumables are due too). Things like buying a house, PC bits, going out and doing things, wasting money on clothes I don't need all take money.

I'm trying to not change cars as frequently as in the past, like said I need to shift priorities into other things. R8 will do I guess *sigh* :D

I have my DC5 for track days and occasional weekend fun (although there is less of that to be had these days with the amount of traffic) and my Focus to get me to work and back. I'd much rather save for a second house although I must admit replacing the Focus has crossed my mind a few times.

One year since getting the mk3 TT. Lovely car, can't recommend it enough. Only downside is I see quite a few on the road now compared to a year ago when I rarely saw a mk3.

Also it's awful on fuel, not bad on a long 1 hour + motorway trip (36-40mpg) but on a short journey you're lucky to hit 25-30mpg. My long term average is about 30mpg. In comparison to my old diesel, my fuel costs have doubled, which is costing a significant amount.

Throwback photo to August 2016 when we had some nice weather. :)

If I drove mine in start stop traffic it would probably use about 23 gallons per mile. :o

Was driving along the A27 at a solid 65MPH earlier this evening, and it was showing about 12MPG on the live readout until the engine had warmed up, then it was showing about 24~ :D

I think the live readout must be wrong though, otherwise I would have run out of petrol by now.

Filled up, reset gauge, drove home and on the drive for 30seconds

Yes I know how distance affect it being I hadn't driven it far since filling up.

Same. I'm currently running a banged up Pajero, because it works and my spare cash is going towards holidays. Which I've realised I enjoy far more than spending money on cars, I still crave something faster but I will in due time.

Plus I probably do less than 4000miles a year, if anything near it!!
