Show Us Your Motors!

Just given back this beast from the (far) East, complete with full length fabric sunroof, semi-functioning brakes and a severe misfire rendering the engine light permanently on and you to keep your foot on the accelerator to stop it conning out with a ****** idle.

It barely moved but never once got overtaken on the twistes!

Ah, looks good in that shade of blue.

Be careful with the TPMS sensors, mine fell apart when I had the tyres changed and the cost of replacements isn't cheap - I just ran mine with the warning light on with standard valves for a while.

Also does it have the annoying always-on lights? I think they swapped out the relay in 2009 after realising their implementation of DRLs didn't make any sense. Mine was a 57 reg, so I got in touch with a scrap dealer who sent me one of the newer ones from a breaking car - takes 5 mins to swap out.

Lots of car related stuff going on. My little Acty now has arches and a lip..

I grabbed another Volvo and chucked some steel wheels on it...

The Brabus Smart arrived..

And I had a ten hour round trip to West Devon to drop my friend off so he could collect this 6.5 litre V8...

Mazda 6s look like a good buy - quite a few people at work have them and seem to rate them highly.
This came up round the corner from me for less than any on autotrader, just had new front tyres and been welk looked after generally. Couldn't resist really..

Hopefully it will prove reliable!

I like the colour, 3/3 blue cars now :p I do think they look much better with the rear spoiler but don't plan on paying to get one fitted..

Thanks for the heads up about the sensors.

Yes to the always on lights. Thought that was a bit odd when I noticed them in the reflection of cars in front, poorly man's DRLs? I'll have to look into the relay change. I assume the auto lights still work properly after?

You have some awesome cars sir!
Never been a fan of the 740. Had an S90 for a bit; complete sofa beast. Miss it! Nice V70. Is it an R?

They do.

Part number for the correct relay is GS1E67890A, replacing GS1G67890A. It's located behind the centre console, accessed through the glovebox.
