The biggest problem I have with it is the front, the height of the wings over the front wheels, the overhang and the height and length of the bonnet. It is not a pretty car at all. Clearly we will have to agree to disagree. It’s one of the worst stylised cars I’ve ever seen. But then I’m obviously quite a fan of the R53 which I rate as one of the most iconic designs ever...opinions and all that :p

The F56 is akin to Natalie Portman? How thick are those glasses:D

You can’t make a car the same size as the original Mini. It just won’t be possible.

I quite like the rear of the F56 and strangely enough I quite like the Union Flag tail lamps. It’s the front that is the problem, the height of it and the overhang. Demonstrated quite well:

Yes you can, I’m pretty sure that funky electric Renault thing with no windows is smaller than both the Bigi and the Mini

I think things like the VW Up may be getting close to Mini size

There isn't "that" much difference in size between the F55/F56 Mini compared the the UP (10" Length 4" Width)
 
The UP is only about 30mm smaller than a R53 in both length and width. It’s about as small as you can go for a conventional car but it’s not exactly original Mini proportions.

A small Renault won’t no windows isn’t a particularly fair comparison. You can’t even seat two people side by side.

Original wheels are in storage :) I would never sell them, but I’ve never been a big fan of them. The car always rides and steers much better with 17”s.
 
Love the Abarth but just as a warning, keep a close eye on the wheels. We have the same ones on ours and have had 1 replaced and are going to be getting a 2nd one done soon due to corrosion regardless of no curbing or tyre changes been done, car is a 16 plate but thankfully Fiat have been pretty good about it and not caused any fuss.
