Awesome. Do you have a non-standard exhaust setup, or were you creative with microphone placement?

Was this North Weald?

I ran over a cat on the way down to North Weald ;)

Standard exhaust on an early 4.7 so no cats in the manifolds. I'm considering AM Sports exhaust and/or 200 cell cat as both can be picked up 2nd hand for quite reasonable price and would make a very noticeable improvement to the noise but then it does sound pretty damn awesome already.

I lost the very same dead cat somewhere between Nara and Kyoto when running for the train, they come off very easily. How does that not detach from the mic at high speed?

Now on 119k miles

Much as I hate these wheels for how sensitive they are to stone chips and weathering which then turns them manky in a slow decay fashion... They just look amazing especially at night as the diamond cut glistens under all light sources  I'd miss them for sure if I ever got CSL wheels to swap with.

Excuse the phone pics.

My Z3 2.8, after about 2 months of repairs due to an idiot driving into it. New bonnet, bumper, 2 new outer sills, installed new sport seats and a lot of other things. Got a full respray too. This is my project car.

@BusError how is it swirl marked already after a fresh respray? ;(

These were water marks, altho I'm not entirely finished with the pain, there's some orange peel that'll need polishing. The guy told me to wait a month or so before doing so. Only paid 1200 for the whole job so can't complain; most 'shops' were quoting me in the region of 3k!

These aging really well, I’ve grown to really like it, especially the coupe.
