It wasn't in power mode, so didn't kick down to the lowest possible gear

Sounds like a Corsa with a large exhaust, what's so good about that?
Yes corsa's sound like straight piped V8's.
Its fixed now though so it has a more "tuned" V8 noise rather than just ALL THE NOISE IN YOUR FACE AHHHH.

Yes, they do sound basically the same. It just sounds like a generic farty car with a broken exhaust, not at all special or interesting. Sorry to burst your bubble.
I'm not pretending it sounds godlike, it sounds like a V8 with a broken exhaust. If you think a corsa with a broken exhaust sounds like a V8 with a broken exhaust you need your ears testing

Grill looks good but I think I preferred it with chrome wheels. Contrasts more with the lovely deep blue paint. Have they got a hint of bronze colour on them or is it just the lighting?
