Show Us Your Motors!

I think be was talking about the Discovery rather than my previous car, plus this is a Discovery Sport anyway so never had the “plate of offset” :p:D

Not sure it's the right thread but currently looking at a few f430's. Anyone owned/had long term experience of one?

Drove one almost every day for a couple of years. Not sure what you want to know exactly - it’s one of those cars that you have to experience for yourself and will either get or not get. Amazing sound, a proper experience to drive but I personally didn’t love it and preferred the 2010 Gallardo I drove at the same time. Many of my colleagues disagreed though. Personally, I found the F1 gearbox horribly slow, particularly by modern standards, the drivetrain was very unreliable and the interior felt cheap. They seem to be a good investment though, and they look fantastic.

You've actually hit on most of my thoughts. I love the look. Think they look better than the 458, with the exception of the interior which looks both cheap and quite heavily dated. I've read that the gearbox isn't the best as well. Going to see if I can find one available for a test drive though.
Thanks!

Thanks guys, yeh I didn't want any of that shadowline stuff or black wheels, shame it doesn't have privacy glass but not the end of the world! I know Fox will groan because it doesn't have adaptive cruise either but I've never had it so not too much of a problem, just got to get it run in now ;)
