Show Us Your Motors!

Looks good! Who did you use?

Rimtec in Meopham. They are based in the tiny industrial complex just behind the station. Very good service, they have a small yard, so if you can't get the wheels to them separately, you can leave the car with them while they do it. They quote 3-4 working day turn around - I dropped the car with them first thing Tuesday morning, got a call Thursday morning that it was ready to collect.

Thanks, I know the area well, we have a second house in Vigo. Might check them out soon.

Can't visit my parents without getting a shot down this lane. Saw a lovely green d type on the way as well, tiny little things when you see them driving alongside modern day cars.
That road looks really familiar. Went down one similar when visiting friends at a pub a few years back...It was round Cranleigh area, give or take few miles...

if it was then you took a big detour or had one to many :D this one is in Devon :)
Haha ha. Shame, can't find the road or the pub again. Keep meaning to drive over and have a search but a bit of atrek for me...getting around guildford is bad enough. Was awesome driving down it though...sund filtering throught the green canopy...a living tunnel

Picked my new mini clubman up this morning and waved bye bye to my 5 door. I will miss the F55 as it has been a great car during the time I have had it.

Two clubmans now sit outside the house as my dad bought one too. Their stripe choice isn't my cup of tea but it certainly is unique. It's not obvious in the pic but they also had their roof wrapped in sparkly black. I would prefer it if mine had different wheels so they looked more dissimilar but I'm not changing them any time soon.

think its the one before that he likes

That was the first Clubman released since the 1980's... do you mean he wants a 40-50 year old classic? Because if so, fair enough - you buy those for different reasons and they do not compare in any way to the modern ones.

But if you're talking about the new-era Mini from 2001 onwards, there have been only two Clubman - the one in the photographs above and the previous one before it. The one above is, as I said, better than the previous one in every possible way. I can see no reason to prefer the previous one over the current one and we've had an example from both generation ourselves.
