Yeah, i guess that's the trade off. I hope for you it gives you an early retirement and plenty time to enjoy the fruits of your hard work :)

Longevity in my family never been a strong feature haha. Do what can be done in the time that can be done!

Fair enough then :cry::o

It looks like a 718.. Guess it's a 981 then. All looks the same to me :(

Easy mistake to make, they all look kinda the same haha. Saw a nice 718 but liked the sound of this one better. Saw a 3.4 but I liked the PSE better with 2.7 couldn't see a 3.4 with one.

I looked at and read up these recently and the 718 is a “better car”, allegedly. But there’s nothing like the sound of a flat six. Enjoy :D

My eldest daughter bought me some cleaning products for my Birthday last week and with the sun due out I gave it a clean :D, then on Sat my youngest daughter tested positive for Covid so have been isolating since (then tested positive myself) so haven't actually driven it anywhere since and it's now covered in pollen :mad: and will be back to dodgy weather when I am allowed back out again!

I am still pondering getting the wheels done in Ferric grey but will possibly wait until they get chipped, or damaged or I run out of the matt wheel shampoo + matt detailer for them.

That's very nice, what's the spec?

I'm looking to move on from my M140i SE and this is on the shortlist :)

I’ve stolen this from my dad for the week:

And I absolutely love it :(

60k miles and it still drives like new. Few little creeks but otherwise perfect.

The steering is the highlight for me - it’s sensational. Oh, and the NA I6 of course.

Plus the dealer had also changed the wheels and added the sideskirts/splitter and wheels to the 795M Performance wheels, it was an impulse switch and they had it in stock so I went for it, haven't regretted it at all (even if some bits aren't to everyones taste - I still can't make my mind up on the black wheels, I like the style it's just the colour...).

Perhaps not on a track but for the road it’s excellent. Tonnes of feel, great weight and the wheel itself is a lovely size.

It's electric power steering widely regarded by most enthusiasts as terrible. It doesn't bother me as I'm not really big on things like steering feel - but it's certainly the first I've heard of any praise for it :D
