Nice !

to me , gray does not suit it at all

Red and blue are great colours on it

It's fairly dull on a day like that I'll admit, especially covered in dirt. The MK4 ST didn't get the best range of colours, desert island blue is the nicest but that's only on 'normal' models not the ST. Looks nice when clean and the sun comes out, which is at least twice this year.

Absolutely grim atm.

lol, I love it. Have you still got the limo?

Nah, sold the Limo after I had my fun with it for a year, it when to a guy who turned it into a wacky races machine and took it on one of those charity rallies.

I feel the saloon/pickup is a perfect combination for me. Smaller than a proper pickup but still with that rear deck. It's a shame there aren't more cars like that and they seem to always be modified cars. I saw a yellow impreza pickup the other week!

It good, drives exactly like a car but has the space to chuck my bikes and other stuff in the back.
The only issue I'm finding is the lack of covered storage, but that's easily sorted with a canopy or tonneau cover for the bed.

Got the Lotus aligned and corner weighted at Toyota RRG Macclesfield:

Lighter than expected but not complaining, got the alignment maxed on front as removed all front shims so gained nearly a degree, toe equalised and set neutral on front so looking forward to next track day and cross weights pretty spot on.

Taken from a phone snap of a printed photograph, my old GT3 outside of a fantastic place I rented on the way to Monte Carlo in 2007. It was two story in the grounds of chateaux outside Dijon. In front of the car were 10 foot gates and the room service would get delivered to the house by 2 people and laid out on the 10 person dining table. Was dead posh for a lad from Perry Barr.

Had the rear windows tinted to bring it into line with the optional 90% tint option. Was almost tempted to get a light tint on the fronts but I didn't.

I think a set of spacers are next on the list....

That will be a transformative change, the previous alignment was well squiffy not just a bit road biased. I also had the GT4 done this week in preparation for Silverstone in March, have actually gone for a smidgen (just 1 minute) of toe out up front just for the ludicrous turn in potential.

Yeah upto 0:05 out on the front will liven the front end of a car up nicely, making them eager to turn in, I'd never go beyond that though as on the road it can become rather nervous, I personally prefer the front-end to be quite docile on the straight ahead, especially on the road, hence I went toe neutral on front, in a normal road car I tend to go for around 0:03 minutes toe in per side.

My current motor, had it since Jan 2019, nothing compared to the other motors here.

19s to be refurbished this year, powercoated ferric grey is the plan. I damaged a rear and then halfords damaged a front when the swapped onto the winter wheels I have (640m). Pictures are 513m and 437m.

Semi tempted to get the Litchfield suspension option fitted as it's B road handling is crap compared to my old 135i with Birds suspension and LSD

I like the smaller wheels more.

Agreed, they're going back on this year, last year I decided to run the 437m, which I think in Ferric grey would look great.. They are lighter and also make it less fidgety on a B road run. 255/40/18 and 275/40/18, got them a few years back. Get regularly asked to sell them on the M2 FB group lol.

just a shame they’re all Pilot Super Sport tyres.

not tempted to just give it to birds to sort the suspension since you know you like their stuff?
