Show Us Your Motors!

Cheers fellas. I've had it over 2 years now, still love it to bits. It's a 01' model - I'll let a few more pics do the talking!

Absolutely stunning - seriously nice. Colour combo is fantastic! It helps that you appear to be a good photographer as well :D

That steering wheel - have you had the leather re-done on it? I just fitted the same wheel to mine 2 weeks ago after a leather refurb :)

You've inspired me to go and get some pics of mine since I've done a bit to it since I last took some - pretty much the same as you though, M5 bumper grille, recovered later style steering wheel etc :p

What power was it making on those rollers? ;)

Do you live in London?

Thanks Fox. The steering wheel I actually bought brand new from BMW - it was expensive but definitely worth it. Being an M3/M5 wheel, it's slightly smaller and thicker than the older style M-Sport wheel I used to have, so it's very nice to use.

Definitely get some pics up, would love to see it, I'll check back every now and then! As for my photography skills, I really don't have any! Auto settings + holding the camera steady + nice weather = relatively decent shots. :D

As for the power on the rollers, here you go. I thought the result was pretty funny:

Yeah, live in London (SW). I moved over here from Ireland last year to go back to university. Having fun so far! :)

Lets have a look at your refurbed steering wheel.

I nearly went for the new wheel - it was £300 - but in the end opted to have a used wheel refurbished. It's the MY2002 onwards Sport/M5 wheel, I presume you had the same large M Sport wheel I had before. I agree the new one is so much nicer!

Will take some new ones tommorrow!

Exactly what I got - almost - 232bhp!

Lets have a look at your refurbed steering wheel.

Only one I have atm, will try and get some more and do a thread as I've made a few changes and had some 'interesting' work done so its due an update :p

If you ever sell that 530 rpg, send me a message first :)
LOL, no problem mate! :)

Fox, wheel looks great. Nice to see you have a manual too, and I like the weighted 330Ci Clubsport gear stick. I'll keep an eye out for your thread.

Oh wow rpg, that E39 looks fan-bleeding-tastic ...really that's lovely ...it makes mine look like a total heap to be honest. I love the interior colour combo also. It's so rare to see a nice one that isn't all black inside.

Here we go. Click pcis to get to bigger versions on Flickr.

First up my Busa.

I've been riding bikes for 20 years, and this Busa about 2 years now (from new).

But in January I finally got round to passing my car test, so bought an MG TF 135 in Feb.

It's great fun to drive, and an awesome first car :)

Love the bike, and a great first car!

My new car is on order, but I'm keeping it a secret until its delivered (should be 8-10 weeks).

:)

Gonna be a huge letdown if the 'secret' is revealed to be some random 10 plate hatchback :p

That's why it's a secret, so the RWD/BMW snobs don't pooh-pooh my car even before I've taken delivery.

:)
