Seems we're on a BMW kick and someone mentioned 335d, so I'll lower the standards with my pair of sheds.

2009 335d and 2004 330d. Photos aren't recent, but the 335d was on 102k miles and the 330d was on 211k miles at the time and I'd only had the 335d about a week. Still have both, but not sure for how long (for either).

Remap done by evolve after a few hours, but they had the kit to do it properly.

Feels mega and with the GTS DCT gearbox the shifts are so fast. amazed by the difference tbh

Is the chicken wire mesh standard? Otherwise still look great imo

It is standard, but the colour has faded over the years which makes it stand out more. I still have a replacement part sat on my eBay watchlist from a few years ago, but it doesn't bother me as much as a couple of the other cosmetic issues.

Just dust it with some satin black out of a can.

I wouldn't even bother taking it out. Use some floating masking cardboard. :p

I use direct to rust satin black, I've used a few brands, Jenolite is my favourite but they're much of a muchness. That stuff sticks to everything. Even dirt.

Epic weekend in Northumbria and Scotland and just did return journey from Edinburgh with Mrs in her new run around, the worse EV ever for range (4 stops to get home lol):

Epic weekend literally had roads more or less to ourselves all weekend so the Cayman R was epic fun, even the Mrs had some blast in the Honda E as we took more scenic route home. I would just blast off and pull into laynys and wait for her to catchup. :D

Not had a go in Honda yet, shall drive it to work tomorrow but it’s our sensible car and we get free charging at work. So £0 road tax this year (£195 next March) and insurance was £230 in her name so not bad. She loves it and all that matters and it’s the mega limited edition version.
