Show Us Your Motors!

Awww, what did it fail on?

All sorts, came to about £300 which isn't a lot to be fair, but it's more than I can afford at the moment and I'm going back to uni in september so I'm gonna pocket the cash.

Steering collumn had play, brake hoses had disintegrated, rear drums weren't doing anything, exhaust had become detached, handbrake cable... few other things. Most of it was things you'd expect to have wear and tear. I drove it to france and back last year and left it in the barn over the summer so it's taken it's toll.

Just going to wait until after uni and probably get an 8v Gti :)

not bad, but the steering wheels on the wrong side.

Arhh you call that a Liberty in the US then, I wondered about that when I saw them in Canada, that model is called the Cherokee in the UK. My next door neighbour has one, it has possibly the worlds noisiest diesel engine in it, shakes the ground when he starts it from cold (at least I thought it was the noisiest I'd heard in a modernish regular road vehicle, but I heard louder from the big diesel pickups in Canada, those 6.4 litre dervs make a hell of a row, they sound like HGV's) ...and the interior is ...very plastic.

First Car

Right well after looking at several types of car for my first car and many decisions/test drives I ended up with this

Fiat Panda 100HP

Loving the drive so far, not seen another one about since either. Anyhow heres a couple of pics :D (Excuse the bad parking I pulled up just to get two quick snaps on my non iPhone)

I'll get some proper pics at some point with my DSLR!

Despite it looking like a Renault Kangoo van, I really like these! :p

God knows where women get their logic from, but this, along with a Mini Cooper S is on the shortlist of cars for my gf. :p

Must be Meadowhall car park?

I really like that Panda from the outside, but I just can't get on with the interior.
Not a car for me, but brilliant nonetheless :)
