I took the Rover to have it polished, cleaned and a leather treatment done and i'm pretty happy with the result. She looks, feels and smells like new, more or less. The photos probably dont do it justice though.
All the scratches and swirl marks caused by it being cleaned with sandy rags over the years are finally gone!
Next time maybe ill get the kerbed wheels sorted :o

You do realise how much of a utter BITCH that is going to be to keep clean? It will be Black for 5 minutes tops after washing it, before the dust of the world senses that a black car has been washed and rushes here at warp speed to claim their spot on the Body.

For some reason I love black M3 even when I was small....different shape and many years late it is still the same.

It is already covered in dust :p

painful but I love it :D

It's just an aftermarket black/carbon effect badge. You can buy them for the boot logo, bonnet, steering wheel insert etc etc etc.

Did you fit the rear LEDs yourself? I notice you have the early M3 alloys.

Didn't do anything to it, bought it like this. Badges are not BMW made.

Thinking of getting 19" alloy but I love the handling now.

Too right.

One of the few things I don't miss about my old e38 7 series is its Cosmos Black paint, it would attract dust from under a dust sheet! :D
