Show Us Your Motors!

Aye, I guess so.
He did my old Lolvo worse. That's down to the bare metal, and some bodyshop quoted my flatmate €700 ha!

When I got back from work I went for a walk and I saw some other cars which I knew were parked there overnight. They too had been keyed. Hopefully this is just a one-off.
This is a regular occurrance in the worse parts of town.

How does one go about sorting it, without being bent over backwards by BMW/bodyshop?

(Approx 15-16k in mods done to it)

LOL.. Neer said they were recent pictures :)

1st picture is recent, the other 2 I managed to get from the previous owner so thought I would post them.

I'm constantly shocked by the attention it always gets. I've been on runs with Porches, Ferraris, Lambos and the TVR is always the car with the crowds taking pictures and asking questions.

What is the box down at the right? where my knee would usually sit :P

A fuse box...man your old Mini must have been well old. :p

The laughed at my car, they laughed at my long ratio gears, they laughed at my top speed and fuse box and steering wheel.

I laughed at their funeral.

:D

EDIT: Car behind me at the petrol station had jap speed all over it, I asked him if he worked for them and he said no. I didn't ask whether it was stolen. ;)

Picked this up a month ago, mainly for business use.

It's a Rover 75 Tourer CDTi, with Connoisseur trim level. It's got everything the 75 could be specced with, bar the xenon lights and Highline navigation kit.

Specs:

- 2.0 BMW M47R diesel engine, 131bhp version. Currently running at about 160bhp thanks to a Synergy 2 tuning box, airbox modification, EGR bypass and Pierburgh MAF. Remap is booked for Thursday, and will be getting a turbo-back straight through exhaust nearer Christmas. Power output when all this is done will be about 185bhp, judging by previous owner's results.

- Full leather interior with heated, electrically adjustable seats

- Brand new clutch a few weeks ago (before I got it) and all associated hydraulics replaced too. DMF checked and within tolerance.

I paid £1600 for it, with 8 months MOT and 6 months Tax. It has 173,000 miles on the clock.

Slate away, those that haven't seen my thread. I just like to also keep my cars in here too. :p

I bet! I will have to keep a look out for you.

So because cost of living is so small in yorkshire, that must obviously mean that we can have better cars. ;) :p

EDIT: matty two Rovers on one page...I am both shocked and amazed. :D

:p Only the best for OcUK. :D

Edit, just noticed you're in West Yorkshire, I work not too far from the border. Might see you around some time, I'll be doing a bazzilionty MPH with a huge plume of smog behind me. :o

Picked this up the other day for the business, It's a bit of an odd one, it's got a 1923 body on a 1950 chassis with a modern day straight 8 engine and other odd bits so it actually drives surprisingly well
