Gaygle, thanks for the comments :) The tints were a factory option so are very high quality, pics make it look darker than it actually is in RL.

Spec wise, it's got a fair amount of options. I really wanted a manual one, most seem to be autos, so I held out for that. It's got the widescreen satnav / iDrive setup and usual toys inside, black leather (kinda wanted red, but since I wanted a manual and was being fussy about the other extras I settled on black)

Mods wise, it's got black front grills, debadged rear, carbon fibre badges, EBC red stuff pads all round, Carbon Fibre rear diffuser, JB4 tuning kit (variable maps controlled from the steering wheel) and I've taken it to crail and hit a 12.7 seconds 1/4 mile, which I'm pretty chuffed with.

Future plans are a meth kit, and uprated downpipe.

Yours looks ace, the lip spoiler does help set off the rear nicely! /edit, the white one isn't yours lol! but the spoiler is nice, need to get one.

Nice :D I was looking at the JB4 as a future upgrade, what's it like?

Na, the one above isn't mine, but hopefully will have a spoiler like that one by the end of the week. This is mine :)

It's always good to buy a 5 Series from an illiterate person on Ebay. Especially one with a free fault light on the dashboard. Add this to the random photos taken in a random carpark and it combines to make what is surely a fantastic buy!

Bah, my attempt at wind up has failed.

Love the car. But my God those wheels are horrific . They just look...wrong/odd? I think the tyres look too stretched over them, maybe?

Personally love the ZCP competition wheel style. 265 rear and 235 front are the size I'll end up putting on these when the tyres are due (as they're perfect fit for the width of the alloys). At the moment it's on 255/225 stock.

Also didn't quite realise how many 335i owners are on here :p

Have you fitted 18" tyres to them?

That might be why they look a bit weird. The actual design of the wheel is nice, but something just looked strange.

Nope they're the 19" rft from my 225m. It's probably a result of the width. Atm they're not a perfect fit but will suffice until I get a set of conti 5p's in a few months.

How would you fit 18" tyres to a 19" rim?!

:/ Good question.

I got mixed up between people fitting stretched tyres and fitting different sizes.

Anyway, yeah i suspect the narrower tyre widths make the tyre look too small for the rim.

Looking forward to seeing them again with bigger tyres

Gaygle, what happened to the 19"? :(
What zorst is that?

I bought mine with 18" alloys from Dr House. Tbh, i like having 18 inch wheels, tyres are a decent amount cheaper, ride quality is better and the 19" BMW alloys featured on the E9x (bar the later 313's) had the horrible cracking problem which BMW were famously very unhelpful with.

When i looked, i think a set of for 19" tyres (non runflats) nearly broke the £1000 barrier, whereas a set of 18" tyres were below £750. That, combined with the other reasons above make me not that bothered about 19" alloys, although i do think they look better.

The exhaust is a full Milltek system and is lovely :D

Right now, my only plans for the car are to fit the M3 rear spoiler, and if i see a cheap M-Sport steering wheel with paddles (someone sold one on E90post for £75 the other day, when they are around £400 on ebay!) or some cheap M-Sport skirts, i'll get them. Apart from that, i'm totally happy with the way it is right now.

Your front bumper doesn't look like the oem M sport bumper, is it a different style?
