It just looks wrong with skinny spokes and rubber-band-thin tyres on a car with an otherwise quite featureless slab-sided look from the side anyway. I really think the E92 needs dished wheels to look nice - none of the BMW offerings are very nice. They are at least less awful than the standard 19's.

I think much of the reason is that 19's are simply too big for a non M E92 despite being fitted to most of them. 18's suit them far better.

They don't look great on the LCI one either though that's the thing :P the starfish ones suit the E92 much nicer imo, the gaps in these are just a bit too far apart, like the M6 wheels, they look best only on an M6, on anything else they look far too gap ridden :p

You say that like the LCI actually looks different :p it has an opaque eyebrow on the headlights which are LED instead of Halogen angels eyes, LED tail lights and bigger wing mirrors to meet new EU legislation, looks identical other than that.

I could LCI mine for a few hundred quid, though i prefer the pre-LCI wing mirrors as they are far sleeker. Interestingly i dont think the M3 got LCI headlights? :s

My hobbie.. fiesta ST with Mountune 185 kit, BC coilovers, 16" pro race 1.2s and numerous other little bits and pieces. Hopefully MR200 will on the cards in the near future along with a brake upgrade (already have a Focus ST170 rear setup to ready to go on)

With Mountune stripes. Not sure on the splitter still, from the front it looks fine but from the side it looks out of place

Really like that, not sure if I'm keen on the side stripes nor am I keen on the headlight and fog lights surrounds painted in red. Other than that it looks like a highly powered go-kart!!! Loads of fun.

What is it getting mpg wise?

Most of my driving is short stop start stuff so daily I see about 24-26mpg.

Motorway tends to give anything from 36-39 and sticking to 50 out in the sticks I can see 40+ at times so it all varies ha.

Not as good as I was thinking....

My 5 pot turbo ST gives 28mpg average and that's 100% made up of 10 mile round trip to work, and a 2 mile round trip to the gf's. Haven't tested the motorway yet, but will do this weekend, I'm taking a wild stab at 32-34 if I stick at around 70mph.

E39 looks brand new Fox, very nice. On a related note I was overtaken by an E39 M5 today, OMG the noise!

Anyway this is my crappy old polo, sorry for the picture quality it was taken with my SAMSUNG OMNIA 7 16GB WINDOWS PHONE 7.5 MOBILE TELEPHONE.

Thanks, I wish it was! It's now reached a decade of age :( And I always said I hated old cars.

Anyone really care if it's 10 years old? As long as it works and doesn't troll.
