Show Us Your Motors!

What are the gear changes like with multitronic. Was looking at A5s on the audi website and they seem to have multitronic unless you buy a brand new one with dsg. :o

Very very smooth....hardly notice the changes at all. Flappy paddles are good when you fancy a little blast!

Thought it was pretty obvious seeing as it is parked directly out side a very nicely kept house. :o

What? You have never been to America have you?

Not to obvious when his Location says east sussex and kent. Anyway i thought he rented it over the proper shape mustang which to me is bizarre. If he has bought it then it isn't bizarre and adds up.

Stop trying to jump on the serious brigade bandwagon.

Why dont you buy yourself a decent car out of interest if you are taking that line?

Just seen this.

Wish i could afford what you can afford pal. :)

What the hell is a "proper shape mustang"? And why do you have that one in your sig if any that aren't the latest shape aren't "proper"? And why on earth would a rental company give you a car that stopped production 8 years ago?

lol.

Sorry lethal, i really wasnt trying to 'diss' your motor. Im sure it is a great car and looks great. I genuinely for some reason thought it was a rental and thought it was odd you didnt get a more recent one. Didnt realise you was living there.

Nice car and i bet it sounds great :)

Howard and Jez, come off your high horses.

Finally got a few pics of the new beast:

Cheers. :)

Just got to get my EP3 sold now. I still enjoy driving it, but the E39 is just more suited the the use I get out of a car now. :(

Looks great! Is it as immaculate as the photos make it out to be?

HAHAHAHA. No. :(

It needs a machine polish quite desperately TBH. I bought it from the first owner, and in the 10 years he owned it the car had been treated to supermarket carpark carwashes, or if it was really lucky, petrol station auto car washes.

It has a minor dint in the NSR door (very minor), a small crack in the rear bumper and one in the front courtesy of me not seeing a massive block of concrete jutting out of the ground when I was parking it. Stone chips here and there, but overall nothing I can't sort myself when the mood takes me.

Interior is very good with a few minor marks here and there, but in better overall shape than my wife's rather clean 60K Seat Leon.

must be a bit boring coming from the EP3 eh? :D

on the positive side, slam and brap it tbh :p

oh the potentialings.

It is boring in the sense that it doesn't scream like mad, is slower off the line and is automatic. I did plead with the wife that we keep the EP3 and track-****ify it, but that didn't go down too well. :p The I6 soundtrack makes up for the lack of 4 pot mentalness, and the steering feel is fantastic - something that is patently obvious when driving the EP3 after the E39 - it has no steering feel at all really.

As for slamming/changing the wheels etc, it'll be staying standard. I <3 style 37s.

Lovely colour, really like the Style-37's

Cheers, they are bitchin' rims for sure. :D
