I do like the A7 and I think the interior is fantastic.
Not in 3.0 TDI form, however

Thanks, think you either love the looks or hate them - few of my friends call it the ugly duckling car...as they have A5's.
But I wanted something bigger than A5 and A5 Sportback....did not float my boat.
A7 was what I wanted in luxury terms (A8) but practical/modern/young terms also (A6/A5)

Do 25-35K miles a year so diesel a must also Coming from a 2ltr Mazda diesel - its plenty quick for me..245bhp I think...tiptronic gearbox.....Quattro is also a new experience for me...

Its an Elegance tdi .Comes with nav , heated leather seats , bi xenon's etc

Nice. Out of interest, why the saloon over the estate? The estate is bigger and better looking imo.

I wanted a C4S but missed one but also the price premium on the widebodies was a factor.

It would have been happy with either hatch or the estate but this just happened to be the right car/colour combo at the right time .

I do agree the estate finishes off the back end better , but i do like the side profile of the hatch

No way your car can keep that clean all the way on a 3000 mile trip.

Did you wash it a few times during the trip?

Didn't clean it once but it didn't get that mucky as it hardly rained really.
