It's not snowing here yet, and I'm less than 10 miles west of Bedford. As cool as it is, I lost £350 of work last week (I work in a number of different schools), and can't afford another week of lost pay!

been going up the mountain near me for the last 6 days in a row, here's some more pics:

as we were driving up we could see this pillar of snow coming towards us

...here's a crashed car we noticed, it hadn't rolled as it was being held up but about 6" of snow, seen it get towed straight out by a range rover

No not good, and you can't even get out onto a street corner to pimp yourself out, without slipping over

Well it stopped and rained a little bit too, so hopefully won't be too bad tomorrow.

I don't.

The general concensus of opinion on all 3 of the weather sites I use is for over 25mm of precipitation to fall this evening and overnight. An inch of rain is the equivalent of a foot of snow, so I hear.... gulp! If indeed next week is a disaster because of the schools closing then I'm stuck, since half term is the week after that, and I will have only worked a single week this month.

well just missed uni because couldnt get car out of the drive. It hasnt even snowed for 2 days but it was -12C last night which couldnt of helped. I hear theres more snow on the way

When was that!? Must be up round Newtown or somewhere! I'm from Armagh city itself, and saw no snow lying like that round us Lucky git! though I was up in Antrim/Ballyclare at the weekend and we had lots up there.
