Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

Heh, it's time to give the PS3 some affection now, I haven't finished uncharted yet.

The 360 lasted quite well, 2 years!

guess what guys?

i'm not SD anymore :D

21.6" yuraku TFT (i think, judging from pictures of other models that they source them from the same place OcUK get their value ones), really pleased, about the perfect size (i didn't want something to dominating nor did i want a tiny little thing). it's black which is always a plus and the price tag of only £130 (including postage) was a snip, i might be able to hit the broadside of a barn now guys :D

is it worth buying a hd player for the xbox or is it dying big time now? as in HD.

depends what you want it for really, i don't buy many movies, so it's not going to cost much when it does come to blu ray time (and that wont be till the new xbox in my case (have no intention of buying a PS3, just not interested in anything it has to offer :))) the media remote is about £15 anyway, so if you wanted the remote you may as well chuck in the extra £5 and get a HD DVD player, which can also take some of the strain of the 360s DVD player (as you wont need to use it to play DVDs), it's also whisper quiet compared to the 360s DVD drive and films are only £5 and you can pick up series' for less than £20.

if all of the above appeal to you, then why not ;)

I.M.H.O yes deffo, they can be had for £20 as a standalone unit or £24.99 with 2 HD DVD's from a popular high street Game shop. HD DVD's can be had from as little as £4.99 online from well known Game/Music/DVD site. Theres plenty of HD DVD only movies, with unknown Blueray release dates, grab the bargains while you can.

So all in all u can buy a 360 HD DVD player with 2 DVD's for the price on one Blueray Movie ;)

Can you come online matey?

no point then really?

Up to you really. For future releases there is no point, but for cheap HD movies some consider it a bargain. It could also be used as a quiet alternative for watching normal DVD's aswell (assuming it can play them? and assuming that its quiet :p)

It has no future, but people are buying the HD-DVD player for £15 because it comes with the 360 Media remote which retails at a similar price.

pretty much all correct and yes it does play normal DVDs and is VERY quiet (no idea compared to PS3, but it beats the 360s dvd drive hands down)
