I think it is bloody incredible to be honest with you. I compared the SD picture quality from Freeview with my 32" LCD and the Plasma won hands down.

Watching blu-ray and playing games on it is fantastic, the colours, motion handling and black levels are incredible imo.

Very happy so far :)

I had to sell it due to moving to a new flat. We have gone from a 2 bed to a 1 bed (with garden, bring on the BBQ's :)) so I had to sacrifice the dedicated gaming/movie room.

TBH, I MUCH prefer our new living room, it feels so much more homely, the sound system sounds better in it and because the window is behind the TV there are much fewer reflections on the plasma during the day.

I watched Amelie DVD upscaled on the PS3 the other day and I was amazed by the quality of it considering it was SD material.

Well, *notes chandelier* not like the projector would work well in that room anyway without causing a mess and you've got a really nice balance there as is.

I think you should give it a rest with the snide comments about badbob. It seems every thread you are having a dig at him and it was probably you that left the comment on his Youtube vid.

Loving the 1030's. Looks like the package deals haved changed now though so you upgrade to 1050 floorstanders for £100!

Is that an Ikea 'black/brown' unit?

Yeah, it is a LACK unit. It is actually a bookcase and is supposed to have 3 dividing slats. I built it, plonked it on its side and just slid 2 dividing bits of wood into the place I wanted. Works a treat :)
