Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

Right, I'll get a picture tomorrow. I was going to do it today, but to really see it you will need daylight. Sorry. Hopefully some of you will like it, I do :).

My friend just got a Samsung LE32R41BD and I must say... the Xbox360 looks poor on it in HD 720p. I was expecting something quite stunning as it has a high resolution, but it pales in comparison to my Sony 42" Plasma with it's maximum 1024x1024 resolution in 720p.

Is there anyway to get it looking good?

He also got the Logitech Z-5450 5.1 THX speakers from OcUK which don't work :(.

*bump*

You've got about 2 hours of daylight left ;)

I can't, just leaving the house now as I'm going to see KanYe West in Manchester (I cba really, I think he's a bit pants, but it's with a friend).

I'll get one tomorrow as I am off all day \o/.

I need some new pics of my setup, will post them soon, problem is my 360 isn't near my Plasma due to the Glass shelfs not being deep enough to accommodate the 360's bulk..... :(

That's strange. I'm running a 26in samsung in my room, and it looks superb!

I got the 32" here. I don't really know what your expecting from an £800 LCD but IMO it looks stunning.

With everyone raving about it I was expecting something better than it was. I know what HD was like on a screen that displays 720p at 1024x1024, so I thought a screen that could display actual 720p dimensions would blow it away, sadly it pales.

Speakers on it surprised me though.

Yeah no probs. It came from MFI and was very cheap if I remember. Think in the sale was couple of hundred quid. Its a self assembly which takes a while but the cabinet is extremely heavy (veneer on MDF) and very solid to take weight. To be honest the plasma is higher on there than I would personally of thought was perfect but its meant the screen is out of reach of our 2 year old! Came with optional handles, you don't need them though as the openings are on that kind of click mecanism where they pop out.

Can't see it on their site - it might not be on sale anymore but worth a look or try calling into a store.

I'm not convinced it's either set up right, or not faulty. It should be stunning.

We only had it running for a short space of time, we had to get ready and go to a concert in Manchester last night, got back at 1am and he's at work until late tonight, so I won't be able to play around with it until Sunday, but I can get it looking better.

Okay, had more time to play with it tonight.

He also bought a set of Logitech Z-5500's and sent the Z-5450's back aswell, and they work!

Anyway, fidgeted with the TV settings as they were awful, but the screen really looks VERY good now, Fight Night looked better than it does on my Sony, however, Call of Duty 2 was a little dark.

How would I go about connecting the TV to the Z-5500 speakers to use them as the TV's speakers?

The TV has R/L audio out (red and white) however, the Audio reciever for the Z-5500 only has a Coaxial and Optical port (Optical used by Xbox360).
Is there a convertor for the R/L audio cables into Coaxial?
