Another new setup :)

GandyCane (Sarah) can now play Bejewelled, Backgammon and HEXIC in HD! :rolleyes:

The tv is smcshaw's old 32" Toshiba which I picked up this morning after a long drive. Steve upgraded to 42", has a great setup now (as well as a fantastic house!)

Lol, I saw this and nearly spat my wine out. I thought, I recognise that TV :) That was quick. Looking good!

Though c'mon, admit it, who's really getting the big plasma and who's getting the 32"? ;)

Aye, so Steve was saying! Decent TV, it's actually going to be 'my' TV as my 42" is going to be our lounge TV and due to me gaming a lot more than Sarah, I guess it would be more logical to have my 360 setup in the spare room with the 32" Toshiba.

Her 360 will be setup downstairs so I can easily take my HDD with me if wanting the bigger TV etc :)
 
Had a lucky escape, the glass mirror which my dad put on the wardrobe came off while I was at work, lucky nobody was in the room or they would be decapitated, the glass was 2 meters long and about 2 foot wide, its hit my desk and smashed, its damaged the desk and the laminate flooring and there is a tiny piece of glass in one of the monitors and LUCKY the Sony TV is fine.

The black box shows where the glass was stuck

Some double sided tape that FAILED Might just not bother with any more glass, was only £28 for it but dont want it to happen again.

Yeah a pint need it after a day at work and some muppet getting 2 inch from my bumper on the way home.
 
Been waiting for a nice setup for a while.... things are finaly panning out.

This pic is a few weeks old (have added a PS3 now):

Samsung LE40M86BDX 1080p 40" LCD TV
Onkyo TX-SR505 7.1 reciever
Kef KHT-1005 5.1 speakers
Xbox 360 Premium (audio via toslink, video via vga for 1080p hddvds, sometimes use component for games)
The stand is an Alphason AMBR-1100B.

Had to add the PS3 for some Blu Ray action (1080p@24Hz over HDMI is stunning). Not really a great gaming machine imho, but F1 Championship has been comsuming a lot of my time recently.
