Show Us Your XBox 360 Setup!

Best thing I have ever bought tbh - they are totally awesome. I barely ever get to turn the dial up to 3 and I think it goes up to 20 or something insane like that.

And thanks Haly :p I would definitely recommend some!

I game normally at 4 bars and a minimum of 9 for guitar hero :D

Same setup, tv is still in the same place but got the cupboard and draws that was in the shed for a few months, does the job, apart from the shelf runing fifa08

Still loving the TV and the elite. Just need to sort the cables out and the Wii is moved between rooms so its plugged in that way.

Now Resized.

Yea the Elite is a big improvement over my Premium but its still going strong - now retired as a media player. The PS3 is getting more use at the moment however.

Woooo!!! Any excuse... :p

Josh

Is that AV Receiver the STR-DA1200ES ?, how are you finding it ?, also what speakers did you pair with it ?, A few people I know say that the Sony is lacking a little on bass, is that true ?, do you run it with the treble/bass @ neutral, if so how does it sound ?

sorry about the million and one questions :D.

Hey there!

No problem with the questions. Yes, it is the 1200es, i love it! I used to have the Creative GD580 set so going from that to 5.1 Monitor Audio speakers with this amp is awesome!

It was lacking bass but this was because i don't have a dedicated sub, i'm using +10 for bass and +5 for treble on the floorstanders and it sounds excellent.

The calibration mic you get with it is great also.

If i was you though i would get an amp that take HDMI audio, i stupidly rushed into buying this one without looking into it first. When i saw my dad last he had just bought the STR 910 and it was basically the same as mine but took HDMI audio.

Josh

EDIT - Using optical on the 360 and PS3, when and encoded Dolby digital signal is sent to the amp, a cool blue LED comes on
