Nice shots, I would be tempted to crop #1 to put the car right in the bottom left of the frame :)

Also nice shots JasonM!

Wow...There some great pictures in this thread...

Be great if you guys could also post what camera & lense you used for your pictures.......

From that lot - Canon 70D with Sigma 120-300 f2.8 OS (rented), Sigma 35mm f1.4 art and Sigma 18-35 f1.8 (borrowed to give it a try). You'll be able to work out what's what from the exif on flickr.

Thanks guys....

I just bought myself a sony RX100m2 a few weeks ago and now am also thinking of getting something to go with it that has a bit more zoom..(Thinking of maybe getting the sony RX10)

I see a few have shot at Prestcott, how easy/much is it to get in, and where are the best points? It's only 10 minutes from my house.

Generally costs around £15 or so. Always plenty of parking although it can be a bit of a walk depending on which field they are using. The venue is pretty compact so just walk around and see what takes your fancy :)

A few from the recent British and Midland Championship event at Prescott taken with a Canon AE-1 Program and Canon 50mm f1.8:

Further to that, you can basically walk the inside and the outside of the hill climb and you're never more than a few feet from the track. I personally prefer the angles from the outside path, particularly at the top of the hill.

The pits is open access where you can freely wander between all the cars.

My only gripe is that there are some very steep banks from the path to the fence and they really could do with putting some steps in at intervals.
