I used my work/talking to foreigners accent, my proper westcountry accent is much thicker :)

edit: oh and FF sounds nothing like I expected, can you teach my French colleague how to speak English? I can barely understand him sometimes :p

haha - sure thing. I can actually do the obnoxious French speaker thing too though ;)

What the heck:

Was tempted to do it in French though... :o

Wait, wait, wait! What's happening here? I always imagined you sounding like the policeman on the left :

But instead you sound like, well, every public schoolboy I've ever met or worked with.

Mind blown! :)

I can sound like Officer Crabtree - but then you wouldn't hear my real voice, besides, I think my Antoine de Caunes is much better ;)

I was tempted to do it all in French, but thought it would be a bit daft. :p

Lived here since 2005, went to Secondary school in Aberdeen but born in Great Yarmouth. Never went to school in England (Holland & UAE) but I've never lost my English accent. English people who hear me irl think I'm Scottish whilst Scots think I'm English...
I love Glasgow and have no issue with being associated with the city though. :)

Do it :D

You do sound slightly more well spoken then I remember though, though it has been a while :(

I will give this a go later, not sure what accent I have with living half my life in north wales and the other half in ampshire!

I think reading stuff out is different to speaking to people - I do a lot of presentations and conferences at work so probably was in "speaker mode" rather than just being a bit more casual than I normally am. I do become a little more lazy when with groups of friends so probably don't put the emphasis on the words as I would normally.

As for doing it in French, if there's enough interest I will ;)

The only problem with this is that most english people will pronounce them all the same, it's made for yanks, we need one with thinks like laugh, bus and cook
