• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Sick of waiting for NVidia refresh...

I can understand the OP's point of view, but as others pointed out there are other costs associated with consoles, plus the games tend to be much more expensive.
To me a console is not a solution, I have a huge library of PC games that you can't run anywhere else. They don't require upgrades though, so if you make a sensible purchase, you can get amazing value and keep the thing for years which makes the initial purchase price pretty much irrelevant.

This, I’m having great experiences on games that will run on my laptop as well as my main rig.

I’ve a huge library yet to play, a lot of the older titles, and as I don’t need backwards compatibility I can enjoy them whenever, and don’t need to worry about the latest and greatest hardware.

When I upgrade to a new monitor these games will look great at higher res too.
