I'm still not sure what point I was trying to make earlier... I was posting on my mobile while walking to work so my mind was halfway elsewhere!

I still think things don't entirely match up. I think it's the level of disgust that's shown and the apparent desire to kill people for harming animals, while people are simultaneously perfectly happy to mistreat and kill animals for the purposes of eating them.

is there a law against raising dogs for food?

the only law is animal cruelty? i'd imagine if a dog was raised for food like a pig ,chicken etc and killed with no suffering it would be fine to a lot of people.

killing for fun however can not be justified in my eyes

As far as I am aware there is a taboo against eating dogs in the UK but no actual laws against it, unless there are laws as to what animals can be reared for food purposes?
 
Utterly disgusting both of them, i hope that man is made some big blokes bitch in jail and gets abused to within an inch of his life.

As for the girl, disgusting fat scroat, as bad as the man in the other story - she should be beaten, hit, punched and stamped on the same as she did to the poor dog.

Anyone who does that to an animal deserves the same back :mad:
