Sickens me to the core...

I cant view at work.

Two stories.

In the first a 12 year old girl is filmed taking a neighbours dog for a walk where she whips the dog with the lead, stands on its tail and legs and kicks it in the body and head.

2nd story is a bloke who strung the family dog up in the cellar so its back legs just tocuhed the floor and only when the back legs became weak enough did the dog slowly choke to death.

Pictures and video on both links so not suitable for work viewing.

This is one of the few times I believe in and eye for an eye approach is needed.

Or a captive bolt to the top of the head!

Not going to watch the video but I tell you what; I bet that girl has some deep seated issues that, rather than grounding her for a few weeks, will actually need some professional attention.

Crazy and disgusting.

Not gonna look at the pics/article as I don't like animal cruelty. But why didn't the dog defend itself and bite her face off?

Ok the dog will have been put down but still, good doggy!

The fat cow probably gets bullied at school, so decides to take her anger out on animals that won't fight back.

as someone who can't have a dog because of renting it sickens me to see some spoilt brat with one hurting it so.
maybe she should have someone 14x her bodyweight step on her

Whilst not condoning the behaviour of the girl in the first story and feeling terribly sorry for the poor dog in this case, I'm inclined to point out that as a normal healthy part of childrens development, they (we) all go through a cruel and vindictive phase where we lash out at those around us, often those weaker than us - pets or younger siblings.

This is a normal part of growing up and learning about interacting with the world around you.

HOWEVER this usually happens at a much younger age and more often than not in full view of parent who are able to catch this behaviour as and when it happens and immediately instill an understanding of the consequences of this kind of behaviour in the child by correctional punishment.

The only thing I see as being unusual about his story is that:

A) 13 year old child being allowed out by herself with responsibility for the care and protection of other peoples animals.

B) Same child has experimented with attacking weaker creatures/those under her control so late in her childhood.

I don't believe that questioning the child raising abilities of her parents is right and proper at this stage as from what I read in the story they come across as decent upstanding people and I don't doubt they are shocked by her behaviour and will deal with her appropriately.

I do however question the publication of this story to start with as being the right way to deal with this kind of problem....

It tries to bite her once. The fat cow dodged out of the way and kicked it again. It spends most of its time cowering.
