side hustle ideas...

Yes, when I did MB though profitable it did become too much like work.

If you can't embrace the hobby aspect then crypto trading will be the same; it takes a fair bit of time to work out a strategy and you can subsequently find that said strategy is blown to smithereens by a random tweet etc.

There's a guy I see in the town with a different girl every time. They all look a bit run down, but he tells them they can make money without getting out of bed.

Maybe there's something there to investigate.

Is he a pimp:D. I suspect most side jobs won't bring in much as if they did, everyone would be doing them. It's like the yputubers, a tiny fraction make a ridiculous amount of money but the vast majority make very little.

cheers for the suggestions - I think onlyfans is out, as much as there are plenty of weirdos out there I don't there's many that want to see my arse waft about :D

I'll look a little more into Mining I think, I mean I do want to make SOME money from it, but as with all things it's a balance, if MB needs 30 hours a week I'd be better off taking a second job, but again, it's for some pocket money rather than a set income so perhaps mining is a good one to explore.

Used to know a guy that would literally buy 100s of raspberry pis, write Kodi to an SD card and sell them off for double the price. There may have been more work involved but he made a decent amount from these "hdmi streaming boxes".

Basically doing things that people would rather pay for than doing themselves.

@AiiR This is the ticket. Exactly what Alan Sugar did with the repackaging of hi-fi and computers.

They key to making money is the pyramid scheme. The authors who sell their book or provide a course on 'making money'.

My greatest money making idea is yet to gain traction. It's a IT Consulting spiritual recruitment agency. You pay for a Medium and they will talk to the dead on legacy systems, e.g. Pascal, Fortran, OS/2 Warp.

Buy a load of X from Alibaba. Flog it on eBay/Amazon for a markup.

Seen it go further than this and eBay listings for Amazon products being sent straight to the customer - as in the seller puts the buyers address into Amazon and sends it from there.

AFAIK this potentially gets you banned from eBay if the buyer kicks up a stink, but it's an interesting concept.

These days you just get your product shipped straight from your supplier to Amazon and let them sell it. Haven't looked into the details and I imagine Amazon take a decent slice, but it's probably a good hustle.

As someone mentioned, what do you do? What do you enjoy? You can monetise those things more than just picking things you know nothing about and learning it.

I do many things :D and always looking to dip my toes in other things.

- buy / sell trainers
- buy / sell watches (problem is I tend to like them too much, so the collection grows instead of parting with them! :D )
- crypto trading (I use a bot but feed it with strategies)
- I used to do some work through FIVERR helping people with business models
- A bit of mining (scaled back from what I used to do)
- YouTube - it's more a hobby tbf, makes me do fun things like ******* about in cars and on karts etc. with the kids but it still brings in $

Things I'm trying currently, or looking to do:

- Skillshare courses - I have a couple lined up I need to film and put together when I get time. Had a few people I know get some decent $ back from this and once it's done it's out there.
- Mentoring - I got asked if I'd like to be a mentor, which I'd done as a volunteer previously for startups and really enjoyed. Someone asked me last week about signing up and providing say 1hr per week to help mentor. I'll see how this pans out.

I have some serious ADHD though and simply can't help start something new at any minute :cry:
