Sidekick ( vodka drink )

I only very briefly drank sweet alcopops and archers when I started drinking for the first time.

A couple of weeks later it had to be Vodka or JD or nothing. Baileys was nice too, but not really a bar type drink.

It wasnt actually about the flavor though, it was about the bang per buck on the alcohol content. Vodka and JD were around 40% alcohol and normally cost the same as a 5% alcohol drink.

That stuff is vile. Buy a bottle of vodka and mix your own.

Best option. Get some vodka, and mix into some decent branded pop or NOT FROM CONCENTRATE juice.

This man has the right idea, any fresh juice + vodka = win

I am currently sipping on tropicana and Russian standard. Btw if you start buying 'decent' vodka, bung it in the freezer and drink it neat. Yum.

If you are not into fees juice vodka and decent lemonaid with lots of ice is a nice drink!

I have already... But, occaisonsly I find then a bit gassy... (obvs not drinking ale etc) so I switch to vodka, but you need to be careful as getting very very drunk is easy with mixed spirits...

Guinness was too much to drink for too little alcohol, and the only beer I liked. Double Vodka + whatever drink = 4 units in a glass!

I used to shamelessly glug down 6 double vodkas and red bulls during my time at uni, was a lot more effective than over 20 crappy alcopops.

Then I discovered that vodka + red bull is actually really bad for you

Wish I hadnt read this.

After seeing this thread I bought the strawberry & cream flavour yesterday and loved it. Im now half way through a cool choc mint with another strawberry one in the fridge.

I tried these before, they got very sickly after a few.
I prefer to just get a real vodka with a mixer
