Sig sizes ?

I saved the image in PS CS2 - Save As - with a quality of 1 and it said 10kb.

So howcome it is really saving it as >20kb ? How can i save an image to under 20kb ?

Ctrl + Alt + Shift + S - Save For Web

Don't know?

I saved it as a 80% Jpeg in Irfranview and it comes out at 2.2KB.

Pretty easy, I just opened it in Gimp and then resaved it to get a size of <10kb. It's hosted on my webspace at the moment but feel free to copy it elsewhere as I may end up deleting it at some point.

i usually use my phone to view this forum at work and it loads fast, another one i view jumps all over the place while loading and does my head in.

I like the size limit, 400/75.

But the anal 20KB limit is a pain, think that maybe 25KB is a sweeter spot

i would like to see the max size of the sigs increased a little, maybe 450x125 or something, and max size of 30kb

i cant fit the full toon badge in

I don't even do them anymore since the size in Windows isn't the size in firefox and I'm fed up being deleted.

People say come on it's easy but it's not it's damned hard to compress images and still have them look decent.
