I find the use of eyes solves this issue.
Tell that to the dick that pulled out on me breaking my wrist in 3 places and leaving me with pain/reduced use of my hand forever, he didnt "see me".

Having an exhaust over the current restriction is a anti social thing to do much as it is for a car and in can not in anyway be proven to be safer -
Had someone pull out on me while in the car last night, I think I'll go and fit an air raid siren to the roof.
The number of bikers I see in low light conditions with their "safety" exhaust booming away but choosing to wear black leathers and a black helmet pretty much cancels out that argument.

and let's not mention the fact that as well as black leathers/helmet they still have a damn big headlight blazing away. You are far more likely to see that than the colour of their helmet/leathers.
From the front...
I'm not trying to condone people pulling out on bikers because they claim not to have seen them. I am simply pointing out that using the excuse of it being safer to have an ASBO exhaust rather than a more suitable one is a load of bull when wearing something to increase visibility would be much more effective.
