So ive been silly and forgotten the 2.5" enclosure in my order...and for such a small thing (inexpensive to), it "might" look strange to the bank.

Could i just temporary use something to stick it down?

I assume this is for an SSD?

Use whatever you like, Blu-Tack etc.

As an SSD has no moving parts you don't even need to secure it. Just rest it somewhere safe until you have the appropriate mount.

Ofcourse, with the price of the HDDs going (I was going to replace my 320GB spinpoint with the better 1TB one...I ain't paying £100 for it :P)

So yes decided an SDD would be a handsome upgrade.

Fair enough, i pretty much already knew i didn't need the enclosure, (obviously for aesthetics and keeping the thing stable if the case is every bumped), just wanted to confirm.

:)

Just leave it hanging till you sort an adapter, its not heavy and nor does it have any moving parts.

I wouldn't just leave it hanging by the cables.

The connection for the SATA data cable can be a bit fragile on some SSD's.

Just temporarily fix it or tuck it somewhere safe so there's no strain on the cables.

Better safe than sorry.
