Silly injuries ?

Some of these stories are making me go , but I just can't stop reading!

No bad injuries I can think of but I had a close call when I was young (I must have been less than 10). I was running around upstairs with a big pair of scissors pointing out in front of me as you do. I then started to go down the stairs with said scissors still pointing out in front of me when I tripped over and fell all the way to the bottom. They were proper big boy scissors as well. None of that child safety rubbish. I managed to land at the bottom with the scissors next to me. I got away with just a few bruises, but it just makes me cringe thinking about it now as I could have took my eye out or stabbed myself or anything if I fell on them.

Got a new one today, messing about in the warehouse at work some lads putting zip ties on their fingers and stuff, i decided to joke about putting one loosely around my todger. At this point my buddy john pulls the tie, hard, cutting off the circulation in it, in removing it i put a massive cut on my sword.

Sounds like a sausagefest to me

Why did you have your willy out infront of workmates? :p and then let said workmate pull the tie? :D

I was on holiday a few years ago. Had a few drinks and decided I better head up to my room as it was late etc..

So got in the lift and found a bouncey ball, threw it at the floor (in the corner of the lift) it then hit the side of the lift and then went straight into my eye. Had a shiner for a week after that one.

My word! I had a blast yesterday, went to the park with my nephew/nieces and folk and thought I'd be awesome and climb some monkey bar type things.

Fell twice as apparently it's quite abit tougher than it looks when wearing a coat (was windy) - also fell over whilst walking on bench stands.

Was a laugh but I think my ribs may have chuffed up a bit as it hurts when I move too swiftly now!

No pain no game though, feels good for a change too!

I also have a bit of a dodgy knee (the cartilage covering my kneecap is in bits), which sometimes plays up, especially since I've been running a lot. It's fairly embarassing to explain that it happened during a roller skating incident when 14 :D

I've got the same thing, except it was a hockey puck that hit my knee. It's a weird noise and sensation when it swells up :x

Well, about 18 months ago, i was sat on the table, and somehow slipped... To bang my chin on the table, and cut my tongue open. Needed 6 stitches in it :|

I did the same thing when I was about 7, my tongue was a pretty clean cut down the middle.

My most epic fail was swinging off a door frame at school, went horizontal and landed clean on my spine, the nerves jarred and they thought I'd broken something. So I was carried out, on a stretcher in front of the whole school. My mates were in McDonalds saying "That'll be Robs ambulance" after they left me
