Silverlight update - Do I need it...

So Windows Update is offering me Silverlight to download. Do I need/want it?

I do not use IE, only Firefox.

Its used for Netflix and Amazon Instant and probably some others. If you use them get it, otherwise not much point.

Only if you use a site that requires it, so if you don't then just de-select and hide the update.

Also silverlight works with a majority of browsers, not just IE.

I use Sky Go, Netflix etc. on my PC so I do need it. But I wouldn't install it for the sake of it.
