Sadly a large proportion of the right has been sucked into the politics of populism, polarisation and post truth. The likes of Trump, Boris, Farage, Le Pen, Orban have embraced it. Berlusconi absolutely fitted into that, it could be argued he showed them the way.

Good to see you realise your dreams are not without some very well supported opposition, it is at least, the start of your realisation that bullying echo chambers are not the overwhelming driving force for anti nationalism some of you would have liked to have envisioned.

The quiet voters are yet (of course) to ballot.... Time ticks slowly by but memories of how some have knifed Boris are enduring :) The Left have failed to see how their "glorious attacks" have probably been to their own detriment, politically and in other ways, their current smirk may be relatively short lived. There's a lot more room to further rightward movement yet than this plastic, wet and ethnically embracing sham of a right wing government.
