Was going to make a new thread but it's this ill be buying. If i buy from gmg how does the download work?, never bought a download game before on pc always just get the disk. Is it just sent as a .rar with cd key?
You'll have to download Origin, GMG give you a product code which you then redeem through Origin and it downloads and play through that.

can anyone help me, ive just had to uninstall SimCity for the 2nd time on my GF's laptop, cos it just isnt running smoothly at all.
all graphics settings set to low or min, set all power features to high performance and also the intel graphics options set to high performance.
i dont even think its managing 1 FPS, it really bugs down and almost comes to a halt.

Friend says he hasn't had any problems with the server past couple of days so downloading now.HotnSpicy28 is my Origin.

that downloaded really fast, but now it's updating i think...processing large file.

The bottleneck will be the Intel GMA HD graphics, it's not very powerful at all. Looking at some benchmarks online it couldn't even manage 30fps on Modern Warfare 2, a 3 year old game. It's not a friendly graphics chipset for games, being more setup for video performance.

thanks pal. Save me time installing it again. Waiting for my new Dell to turn up which has a 2gb GT 650M GPU,which i hope will be better.

Does anyone have issues where your education and tech level take a sudden dive? Then industry complains about not getting high skilled workers.

I have a university, and pretty much maxed out of every other educational service too...the education level is great...then it just starts going down for no apparent reason. Then gradually goes back up, by which time all industry has been abandoned due to no skilled workers.
If you select your education buildings does it not give any information? Sometimes the function of the building can be lost if it loses water/power but wont be enough loss to always point you to the problem.
