Simply sublime... Edifier R1600T Plus mini review

Q Acoustics will need an amplifier, so if you got a 2nd hand Cambridge Audio A1, you would be paying about £150 for both. Q Acoustics are hi-fi speakers, whereas the Edifier's are more budget near field studio monitor speakers.

As good as the Edifier's are, I'd be surprised if they are as good as a pair of £100 passive hi-fi speakers.

Ah, didn't realise the Acoustics needed an amp. These are just for my TV so it looks like I'll go with the cheaper Edifiers. Cheers :)

I have bought them! From Overclockers, too.
When they arrived today they had no English power cable as promised on the item page, so I have phoned and requested one will be sent out - which apparently it will, although it doesn't appear as an order or anything on my account...

anyway, obviously I can't test them yet, but they look very nice, and the frequency response is mentioned in the manual - 55Hz~20kHz.

They don't actually come with a power cable, just a plug converter, sure that wasn't in the box?

Doesn't seem like the latest lot come with the converter included - guessing someone at OcUK has forgot they need it - they do send them out on request.
