sims 2

Just attempting some home improvements..

Does anyone know if you can delete or move an existing wall? I'm trying to make the living room larger but can't seem to do it.

Any way to import original sims furniture?

Not even addons or whatnot, just the original "The Sims" furniture. I really liked the VR set and the chairs/sofas/etc. Any way to import the stuff?

You're joking right? Sims 1 was a 2d engine. Sims 2 is a complete 3d engine. It's like saying, can I import FS2004 planes into Pong!

Street Fighter was a 2d engine.

I think Sims 1 was slightly better than that :p

Has anyone got AA or AF to work with this game.. Ive enabled it to application and also 2x, 4x etc but nothing seems to work, and the jagged edges are horrible to view :(

(Running 9800 Pro with No CCC 4.9)

Can you not make the objects smoother from the options within the game? There's a slider bar as for as i'm aware

Actually, the furniture in The Sims was 3D, you just couldn't fully rotate around it. It would, technically, be perfectly possible to import all the items from the original.

How good they would look, in comparison to the new stuff, is another story. Still, it would be nice.

Yeah, i moved that up and down but it didnt seem to make any noticable improvment, but im gonna try again with vsnc on and AA/AF off. ;)

You have to make the change then apply them, it does'nt do it on the fly.

the notice from no smoothing to full smoothing is easily noticeable.
