Combination of it being far from a vintage season competition wise, McLaren being rubbish and Vettel winning again is probably why there's a lack of interest tbh.

From nothing more than a competition point of view can someone at least get past Vettel into turn 1 today otherwise we're on for a near 2 hour time trial with him managing the lead at about 20 seconds not going nearly as fast as he could.

General F1 apathy following a dull season combined with being sky only will probably see viewing figures in the 5 or 6 people range. Haven't even watched the highlights from the past couple of races yet and only a few years ago I lived and breathed F1.

Apathy is the right word.

In the early part of the season, the weak tyres made racing unpredictable.
Vettel was not having it his own way and was having to work hard for points.
Once the tyres were made more durable, Vettel became unbeatable.
And it is this unbeatability which has ruined this season (for non-Vettel/RBR fans).

The audience know the winner of the race before the race weekend has even begun - which is pretty sad for any sporting event.

I think most are now waiting for next season to begin.

Wow what a stunning ad for Forza 5

it really was!

i too am apathetic now about the f1, but it isnt really red bull/vettel

for me its
lack of consistency in the rules
sky f1 taking it away from freeviewing
the increasingly evident 3 tier system for the wcc with the big 3 followed by the mid field and then back markers - knowing the team you support will never win a wcc isnt fun

Rosberg did well hope he has an upsurge in form now. Trounced lewis yesterday!

Lewis has been on the slide since he won, not sure if it's down to personal problems (didn't he split up with Nicole again) but he's definitely not been 'on it' for the last few races.
