Regards the hilarity of how much faster the Merc is this season, whilst I know they've done a good job with the car, I actually feel all the other teams should be ashamed of themselves for producing such substandard machinery.

If you're a major team like Red Bull, Ferrari or McLaren and another car can pull out three seconds a lap on you at full chat, you've done a pretty **** job I'm afraid.

I think it's more down to that crappy French engine, if the RB was merc powered it would be much much closer.
 
I don't know what Vergne was saying on the radio there, but it was mainly beeps. :D Shortly after being informed that he had another 5 second penalty.

Super soft tyres vs soft.
Super softs heat up faster than the softs.
Mercedes better power and better on fuel

Straight out of the blocks, Hamilton had all the advantages. Ok, his super softs were older, but not that much.
