There always has to be an excuse when Hamilton doesn't perform.

I'm not saying it's not true, but I've never seen any team come out and say anything along those lines in all of the years I've watched F1. Mercedes are constantly feeling the need to micro manage two petulant little children.

My usual feelings about this race is excitement at the start and 'ooh look at the cool looking circuit'.

1 hour 50 odd minutes in I'm usually counting down to the finish and hoping it'll be over soon
