Ros did have break issues in fp2 I think it was, and this isn't the first time with the mercs.

I guess they didn't want to make the brake ducts bigger due to the extra drag? Maybe this is the lesser of two evils. Could be interesting later on though.

Why do the Ultra Soft tyres last at least 18 laps?

They need to be about a second faster but 60% softer. 6 laps at a second faster... Maybe 10 if you baby them.
