41 more tracks to download from Singstore right now (spent £11 myself), 300+ to be added before years end?,and next update is apprently the 17th. Cost 99p each with video and are about 60 to 80meg download each, saw an option for Song packs also, this could be where the old singstar packs/song will probably end up, leaving the rest of the store for newer titles
Eyetoy takes 25sec video clips which can be uploaded to your SIngstore Profile for friends only or public viewing (i have 2 up already making a fool of myself), max of 10 video uploads, once full you deleate old to add new, same with photo's, takes 10 random pictures of which you can upload. Can rate video's with 5 star rating system.
Basically is just Singstar, actual gameplay not really changed from PS2 days, just slicker interface and added Online store, still great for a laugh and theres loads of people using it already. Bad connection issues tonight though but thats a free service for ya i suppose and will probably calm down.
Mics are same as PS2 mics which plug into a usb dongle with 2 phono jacks, wireless/blu-tooth - so they say next year. Not noticed any lag on screen but i wouldn't notice anyway as my singing as is the rest of the family is awfull, lol
Anyway you only gotta buy it once and you just update when you want with songs that you want rather than the year update disc that came for the ps2, so IMHO worth every penny
