I would've called it a cross between Timeshift and Bioshock myself.
The 1 thing that was a little lacking was the variety of use your powers had.

I've been itching to get this for ages and now it's at such a good price I just had to dive in. Looking forward to see if it is as good as some people have said.

I had always thought of singularity as a console game, I would be interested to hear how it stacks up on the pc
Ive got the same impression too - but then I think Transformers is also a console game too...

giving it a try even though i am skeptical of games that let you screw around with time. it usually strikes me as a gimmick that detracts from the fun and flow of the game... classics like HL/Quake/Doom didn't need any time nonsense because their core gameplay was so solid. even the nonsuit powers in crysis was too much for me. The best shooter just has to be run and gun but done well.

From what I can remember, it's a very basic console port. There are very, very few customization options for the graphics. What you see is what you get.
Downloading now, looking forward to this one.
Well...had about an hour or so play and all in all I like it. A couple of observations so far.
Nice touch when an ally is waiting for you that he doesn't keep on urging to keep up, allowing you to explore the room / area. Once you're satisfied and approach him he'll simply open the door and you both can progress to the next section.
Some or perhaps I should say a little less than some, graphics, are good. Put it this way imo the ones that are well done look quite nice. The ones that don't look good however look third rate, really poor imo.
The graphics options page is limiting, no advanced options available, or at least I couldn't see them. Not a major problem for me though.
Anyway, must carry on.

It looks tempting, but the Unreal 3 engine is dodgy in my opinion and I have great difficulty running games on any settings with it on my laptop, games like F1 2010/Mafia II run like a dream.

It's a bit cack, bought it for a tenner in the Steam sales and played for 3 hours. It's going to be really hard for me to keep going back and finish it.
