Singularity

Have to say to anyone considering picking this game up...DO IT!

It's really fantastic and fun to play through. Shame it hasn't had much hype because it really has come out of nowhere and been a fantastic game. Hopefully they'll sell enough units to make a second one or even add some DLC and continue the story.

Really good game though, took me around 10 hours to beat it on Normal. Not a lot of re-playability unless you are into getting achievements for finishing the game on different difficulty levels but it does have a multiplayer mode.

Got this on Friday from a well known supermarket for £26. Bargain. Superb game, single player has a fantastic storyline. Need to give MP a go now.

Got this as a rental and playing through it at the moment. The graphics are very nice and it plays fairly well - the shooting is intense but manageable without being frustrating.

The controls are a bit of a nightmare for me - I can't stand anything that requires you to be pushing down on the sticks.

I get the feeling they had a few too many ideas and crammed everything in (time manipulation, mavity gun, etc, etc) but maybe it'll get easier the further I go.

Still, it's pretty good fun.

I played it for a while over the weekend, it's very much a cross between Bioshock and Half life, sometimes shamelessly so, but it's definitely very enjoyable!

I'm sort of 50/50 over it. There is so much potential with that aging aspect that could have really made it something special. Otherwise, it is OK. (I'm fed up with Unreal Engine 3 now - all the games look similar.)

From what I played last night, this is really rather good with some nice original additions.

I saw this a few months back in one of the unofficial xbox magazines.. and it looked good then but forgot about it.

Since I'm now done with ME2 and nearly done with NFS:Shift.. I might pick this up on a cheap deal, when possible :)

I'm playing on Hard but I'm finding certain parts really quite frustrating, the difficulty appears to suddenly ramp up at points.

I found normal to be manageable, with the odd bit that was REALLY DAMN HARD.

You do have to make use of a lot of the time powers to get through it. Perhaps there's something you're not thinking of?

Well, the bit with the train, without spoiling it. Was really really hard.

Didn't use time powers on that bit, I did try but they did nothing.

Also ticks, tick me off.

Clocked it last night (on hard), really enjoyable, was a bit gutted it ended tbh.
Definitely recommended, it's a bit of a rough diamond, but great fun, if they made a sequel I'd grab it.

Ticks are a bummer, but I used to make one of those time bubble things and shoot them as they got stuck in the edge of it.
You can also revert a tick, which charges it up with E99 energy, making the other ticks attack it, instead of you.

The only thing I wasn't keen on was spending all my skill points on certain things and then the final level whereby you get unlimited E99 energy frankly making those upgrades a waste of time.

This game was enjoyable up until the ticks in the sewer. WTF, even when I clear the room and make my way through the tunnel they are exploding all around me. Wouldn't be so bad if the heal process wasn't so rubbish.

I've tried the deadlock method and LB to attract other ticks to the one you hit but still I get caught by them. If and when i make it to the tunnel I get the ones infront of me and the ones behind spawn and keep taking me out as I'm healing.

Gutted I can't knock it down a level, I'm halfway through the game and won't bother restarting. I was really enjoying it, I will give it one more go then send it back :(
