Sir Patrick vs Cordon

I met Patrick Stewart once, my family and i were in Danby having a picnic and he walked past with a couple of people, i made the mistake of asking for his autograph although i had no pen or paper :o

He just laughed and took the time to ask my little boy his name and asked if he liked being on a picnic etc etc....he was an incredibly nice fella tbh.

James Corden is a talentless ****, completely disrespectful, arrogant and full of his own self worth as well as riding on the back of a half decent comedy show which was more popular than it should have been.

Pretty pathetic exchange.

Whilst I'm getting a bit irritated by Cordon being everywhere at the moment, I don't think he came off worst in that. I agree with a comment earlier that the only thing he should have done is dropped the swearword and appeared less angry about what Stewart said.

Having actually watched it now I'll take back my earlier comments. Stewart was in the wrong here and came out looking more of a fool which is quite an achievement considering who he was talking to.

I think we should have an OcUk anti Corden spammage session so that Google leads folk here.

James Corden is Not funny, he is an Ignorant chav with no originality. Even in Gavin & Stacey he was Crap, I mean how many times can you use the Fat joke.

Free bar at awards ceremonies = people being foolish.

Patrick Stewart didn't seem to intend any malice with his comments, but Corden reacted quite badly and made the whole situation very awkward.

I have to say, as a portly comic myself, I'd have to side with James as if i was in that situation i wouldnt just take crap from someone because they are more famous than me.

I'm far from a fan of Corden, but trying to get one over on a comic by making fat jokes , he really only left him one way out. James was aggressive rather than quick witted which let's him down but he had to react somehow.

All you guys saying he's crap etc and needs teaching a lesson, you have to remember comedy is subjective, not everyone likes the same stuff. Patrick Stewart came across as a bully IMO.

Stewart started it, Corden was just standing up for himself.

I know. However, after corden had said he's sorry if it seemed like that and didn't swear, then there wouldn't have been a need to say anything else. But both bickered on to make a statement and utterly failed.

Why would you need to bicker when someone is waiting for their award, and in front of loads of people. It doesn't make you a superhero.

Cheryl Cole is such a *****.

That is all.

As for Sir Patrick...perhaps he should reel his snobbish side in a bit....there was really no need for him to do that...quite embarrassed for the old guy and Corden was pretty funny with what he said...its only what the old codger deserved in all honesty.

James Corden is a fat kid we all loved at school because he was a bit silly and looked funny when attempting to do things like the rest of us.

He's still a fat kid, and his circle of friends are more talented than he is.. and laugh at him, rather than with him.

For someone who has made a living out of his chrub like appearance, being chubby and throwing insults is his routine... a routine that is getting old quick. He's not as quick witted as he pretends and quite obviously took the comment about his belly very personally.

He hangs on to football stars like a 16 year old wannabee WAG in a desperate attempt to have some of their fame rub off on him.. and Im sure will be all over the BBC during the world cup...

Hopefully this fracar will expediate his demise into TV oblivion over the coming months. He has clearly had his 15 minutes..

He made his living from writing one of the most successful UK comedies for years.

Disappointed in Cordon, he could have handled that differently.
Stewart is a living legend.

Are we all sure it wasn't a big joke. I mean it was embrassing, but not that heated.
