yep, has free skate, races, bowl challenges, skate (like horse, but proper horse not tony hawks effort) and some other stuff i think as well.

Well I think EA coming in to a whole new genre for them and knocking a series which has been going for 9 iterations is pretty impressive. I certainly didn't think it would happen when it was first announced.

I was extremely skeptical over skate., it totally changed once i did one ollie!

well thats a bit of a stretch, reviews wise definitely but i still think sales will be in TH favour. Also Neversoft are an extremely compitant developer, I fully expect them to come back fighting with the next game.

I think skate will do well just not as well as it 'should' I am assuming this on the back of some of the reviews I have watched and read. A lot of them are saying that it will not have long term appeal for the average game which I can understand where they are coming from. I think it will partly be down to the goals and challenges in the games THPS games will be jam packed full of point goals and other challenges where as I think skate is more about the experience and making your own goals and rewards as if you were skating the city.

I know skate is definitely that way for me, the number of times i pause the demo and rewind to watch a nice line I have managed to land smoothly with the tricks I wanted. Playing the game like that and also throwing in the career challenges and goals will give the game more appeal to me than to someone that is just playing it to 'complete' it

If you watch the IGN and Gametrailers video reviews they aren't amazingly positive

Yea it got a good score but i seem to remember the video review not being very positive? Maybe I am thinking of a different one!? :confused:

gamtrailers review was a little odd, the score was respectable but they seemed to say some very strange things in the review.

i can't really remember, i just remember watching the video and it seeming like they hadn't really got the game at all.
